Congratulations on making it through January 🎉

Today is payday for most and those who are on the last working day, hang in there - only 4 more days to go!

I paid myself from my business today and I still get that payday feeling.

There's something about having money sitting in my accounts that just makes things better. Do you agree?

For me, it's like a weight is lifted and I instantly feel energised.

That's the topic of today - I think money DOES make you happy and here's why...

💰 Money DOESN'T make you happy 💰

We've all heard the saying, but have we ever actually thought it through.

We tell ourselves this old wives tale to make ourselves feel better that we're broke AF.

When has someone with money ever said that...Really...

We do it all the time with SO many phrases in the English language, but when it comes to this one in particular, the fundamentals behind it just aren't true.

It's not money that's making you unhappy.

It's the 86% of the UK that dislikes where they work (yes this is true).

It's the lack of personal connection because you're enviously staring at influencers on social media.

It's your lack of daylight. Poor diet. No exercise. Negative news stories. Impending threat of WW3.

You name it.

But it's not money - it's your situation.

💡 Flip that on it's head💡

Instead of focusing on the negatives, which we're conditioned as a race to do.

Flip this round and think of it like this.

If you had money, like enough money to live off comfortably and weren't thinking paycheque to paycheque - what would life actually look like?

Would you be doing what you're doing right now?

Would you be working where you are?

Would you be living where you are?

Would you be in that situation that makes you feel stuck?

Would you be sad?

If you say yes to that last one you must seriously grumpy or so overly socially conditioned it's hurting you to think differently!

🕰️ Money gives you OPTIONS 🕰️

Imagine you could turn round to your pleb of a boss and say F U - I'm done.

Imagine being able to treat your parents to a holiday or something nice.

Securing your kids. Treating yourself guilt free.

Money gives you options and in my opinion just having enough of it makes my life feel a lot easier!

SO, the big question - how do I get there?

Well, you need to look at ways to increase your income for a start. You need multiple income streams - it's that simple.

Then with the money your new income streams creates, you need to re-invest the profits to build even more income.

You keep doing that for long enough and you'll get there a lot faster than you think.

Yeah... sounds SUPER easy Sammie - well, no it's bloody not. I never said it would be.

BUT only you can change it.

So... ask yourself what are YOU willing to do to get off the hamster wheel...
